Responsibilities
- Lead and manage activities and supporting processes across the development and operations of autonomous driving systems;
- Conduct STPA analysis and develop safety requirements in compliance with ISO 21448;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated into the design and validation;
- Provide guidance and training to team members on SOTIF safety practices and methodologies;
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in transportation engineering, statistics, biomedical engineering and mechanics, mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, physics etc.;
- Experience with safety standards including ISO26262, ISO 21448, and UL 4600;
- Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics;
- Experience with SOTIF for autonomous vehicles.
- Strong technical communication skills and teamwork spirit.
Preferences
- PhD’s degree with 5+ years of automotive, , aerospace or related industry experience;
- Experience in leading small teams of SOTIF safety engineers.
- Experience in the automotive self driving industry.
