Educational Qualification


B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Controls Engineering or a related discipline.


Location: Gurgaon / Chennai

Experience: 6–8 Years

Job Description


We are looking for an experienced with strong expertise in Automotive Software Safety and ISO 26262.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and coordinate activities throughout the automotive software development lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and applicable Functional Safety requirements.
  • Perform and review safety analyses including , , FTA, and DFA.
  • Develop and review Functional Safety Concepts and Technical Safety Concepts.
  • Define and manage Software Safety Requirements (SWE.1).
  • Develop and review Functional Safety-compliant Software Architecture.
  • Work on AUTOSAR SWE.3 / SWE.4 design and implementation activities.
  • Support development of safety mechanisms, diagnostics and fault-handling strategies.
  • Work on Functional Safety activities for BMS, VCU, MCU and Electric Powertrain systems.
  • Ensure compliance with required levels (A/B/C/D)..


Required Skills & Experience


  • 6–8 years of overall automotive experience with strong Functional Safety exposure.
  • Strong hands-on experience with ISO 26262.
  • Strong knowledge of Functional Safety concepts, processes and work products.
  • Hands-on experience with HARA, FMEA, FTA, FMEDA and DFA.
  • Experience with Software Safety Requirements and Software Architecture.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR and software development processes.
  • Experience with SWE.1, SWE.3 and SWE.4 activities.
  • Experience with BMS / VCU / MCU / Electric Powertrain systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink.
